Strategic to Mission Grants

Immense challenges often necessitate substantial effort, intentional focus, multiple years of work, and significant amounts of funding for progress to be made.

Strategic to Mission Grants exist for this exact reason. Each year, Baptist Health Foundation of San Antonio focuses on specific pressing needs in the community and invites organizations that may be able to provide solutions that are innovative, preventative, and measurable.

Past grants have included:

  • Expanding Access to Transitional Care for Individuals with Serious Mental Illness;
  • Pioneering and Affordable Strategies to Prevent Progression of Prediabetes, Obesity, and CV Risk in Hispanics;
  • Early Childhood Wellbeing Integrated in Pediatric Care;
  • Therapeutic Expansion for Pediatric Domestic Violence Victims;
  • The Mitochondrial Implications of Childhood Diabetes in the Hispanic Population;
  • Neural Predictors and Benchmarks of Therapy for Traumatized Youth;
  • Addressing Children’s Food Insecurity through an e-Referral System;
  • San Antonio Mobile Mental Wellness Collaborative.

For I testify that they gave as much as they were able, and even beyond their ability. Entirely on their own,
they urgently pleaded with us for the privilege of sharing in this service to the saints.
